Time (rock band)

Time was a Yugoslav rock group, founded in 1971 by Dado Topić, after he left his previous band Korni grupa. The original cast was besides Topić from Tihomir Pop Asanović (organ), Vedran Bozic (guitar ), Mario Mavrin ( bass), Ratko Divjak (drums) and Brane Zivkovic Lambert (piano and flute). Time played in frequently changing line and broke up after three albums and many tours end in 1977, when Dado Topić launched his solo career. Only in 1998 and 2001, the band came back together to play some live concerts, and persists today as a trio.

Time played a jazz -influenced progressive rock. While their first album, Hammond organ, piano and flute -dominated, the successor Time II drew one hand by a harder sound, but on the other hand was also characterized by ballads. The third album was in turn strongly influenced by the radio. Known titles have included Da li da te volim zNAS, rock ' n ' roll u Beogradu, Istina Masina.
