Timo Lange
Timo Lange ( born January 19, 1968 in Greve mills ) is a former German football player and current football coach.
Career as a player
Lange began at the BSG unit Grevesmühlen with football. About the TSG Wismar he came to BSG Stahl Brandenburg. Here he attended from 1986 to 1991 a total of 102 league games (12 goals) and also played 3 times in the UEFA Cup. In the season 1991/92 he moved to Halle FC, but could with the team not make the leap into the single-track 2nd Bundesliga. In the summer of 1992, he then went to FC Hansa Rostock, where he managed in 1994/95 under Frank Pagelsdorf promotion to the first division. By 2003, Long played for Hansa Rostock in the Bundesliga in 165 games, scoring 13 goals. It is therefore up to now record player Hanseatenplatz in the highest German football league. In addition, Long graduated 110 second league appearances for Rostock, in which he scored 18 goals, and made his career in the 2003/04 season close in the second team of Rostock.
Career as a coach
At the beginning of the 2004/05 season took over as coach of the Long Rostock amateur team, with whom he was in his first season coach country Cup Winners Mecklenburg -Vorpommern and master of the Oberliga Nordost (Season Nord). As of August 2005, he was an assistant coach in the pros FC Hansa under head coach Frank Pagelsdorf in the second division. After Rostock was initially descended with this coaching team of 2006/ 07 in the Bundesliga and in the following season 2007/ 08 right back, Pagelsdorf and Lange were delivered after the twelfth round of the 2008/09 season due to lack of success of their offices.
In March 2009, Lange coach and manager at FC Anker Wismar in the Federation League in personal union. He reached in the 2009/10 season the first place, and rose to the NOFV- Oberliga Nord. With the newly promoted Lange started excellently and won in the league first round on the 6th place in the table, in the National Cup Anker Wismar reached the final against Hansa Rostock.
In the 2012/13 season FC Anker Wismar was after 18 match days relegated to the last place in the NOFV- Oberliga Nord, whereupon Lange was replaced on 11 April 2013 as the coach by Christiano Dinalo Adigo.
