Timo Salminen
Timo Salminen Oskari ( born July 11, 1952 in Helsinki, Finland) is a Finnish cinematographer.
He is mainly due to his collaboration with the director Aki Kaurismäki in films such as Leningrad Cowboys Go America, Ariel - known Abgebrannt in Helsinki, The girl from the match factory, contract with my Killer, Life of Boheme and Le Havre. He is the son of director Ville Salminen and brother of actor Ville- Veikko Salminen.
Salminen won four times the Finnish Film Awards Jussi and was nominated for the European Film Awards in 2002 and 2006.
