Timocharis (crater)

The lunar crater Timocharis is an impact crater on the moon, which is located in Mare Imbrium. To the west lies the Lambert Crater, which has a similar size as Timocharis. The crater is named after the Hellenistic astronomers Timocharis of Alexandria.
