Timor Friarbird
The Timor leather head ( Philemon inornatus ) is a Southeast Asian representatives of the bird family of honeyeaters ( Meliphagidae ).
Features
The Timor leather head has a brownish plumage, the underside of the bird significantly brighter colored up to a whitish brown back. His black, slightly curved beak reaches almost the same length as its head.
Occurrence and habitat
The species occurs only in Timor and the west barrier island Semau. Here he lives in the woods and fields to a height of 2200 m.
