Tine Thing Helseth

Tine Thing Helseth [ ti ː nɛ tɪŋ hɛlsɛt ] ( born August 18, 1987 in Oslo) is a Norwegian classical trumpet player and leader of the Brass ensembles indoor tenThing.

Biography

Helseth started to play trumpet at the age of seven years. Later she studied at Oslo Music Barratt Due Institute. Her teachers were Heidi Johannessen from the Norwegian State Opera Orchestra and since 2002 Arnulf Naur Nilsen of the Oslo Philharmonic. With the second prize at the " Euro Vision Young Musician Contest" in 2006 launched her international career.

As a soloist, she has been stepped on, among others, with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, the Baden-Baden Philharmonic, all the major Norwegian orchestras and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.

Their first album, Classical Trumpet Concertos with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, she published in 2007. Followed two years later My Heart is Ever Present, a collection of songs and chants for Christmas.

In 2007, she played at the Nobel Prize gala for the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo. Tine Thing Helseth is the recipient of several prizes and awards. So they received, among others 2007 Luitpold prize of the festival Kissinger Sommer and 2013 ECHO Klassik as a junior artist (trumpet ).
