Tinea imbricata

Tinea imbricata ( Syn: Tokelau, Trichophytia corporis superficial, oriental lichen, lichen Indian, Chinese lichen, Tamana, Tinea circinate tropicalis, Gugo ) is a dermatophytosis of the body, which is a special form of tinea corporis, which is characterized by kokardenartige herd. It occurs in Indo-China, Africa and South America. Disease-causing agents are dermatophytes, Trichophyton usually concentricum.

The fungal disease is usually visible as brownish, scaly, round spots with itching. The propagation takes place in the periphery of the lesion.

The treatment is usually done locally with antifungal agents.
