Tintin and the Lake of Sharks

Tim and Haifischsee ( Alternative title: Tintin and the Haifischsee, original title: Tintin et le lac aux requins ) is a Belgian- French animated film from 1972, to which a year later, the associated eponymous comic album of the Tintin series appeared.

Action

Tintin, Snowy and Captain Haddock have traveled with a transport plane to Klow in Syldavien to a flight taxi to Flechizaff Lake, the Haifischsee to travel from there, where Professor Calculus lives straight. The story was not written by Tintin creator Hergé, but by his friend Greg ( Michel Regnier ). However, Hergé oversaw the project.

The premiere of the film took place in France on 13 December 1972. This was followed by the premieres in Sweden (11 August 1973), in the Federal Republic of Germany (2 December 1973), Finland (14 December 1973), in Turkey ( April 1974), in Spain (1 April 1974) in Portugal (18 December 1980) and in Hungary (9 February 1984). The English version was published under the title Tintin and the Lake of Sharks. The German theatrical took over United Artists.

1973 appeared the associated comic album from the Tintin series, in which images from the film accompanied by speech bubbles, were but partly also redrawn. The UFA - ATB published in the 1970s, a shorter version as a three-piece suit for the Super 8 - home theater market.
