Tirotex

Tirotex (Russian Тиротекс ) is a Transnistrian producers of textiles and clothing. It is the self-proclaimed biggest textile companies in Transnistria and in the south-western CIS. The company's products are exported to 30 countries, the company has over 1000 employees.

Tirotex goes back to a Soviet operation, which was founded in 1973 and is also still at the time of the Soviet Union, was honored in 1986 among others, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. Since 1992, the entire region is one of Transnistria. In 1998, the entire operation of the Order of the Republic, the highest Transnistrian award. Goods of the company was sold in German-speaking among other things at Aldi.

In one of the German company Karl Mayer textile machines Tirotex report was referred to as the second largest pure textiles manufacturer in Europe.
