The Titarisios (Greek Τιταρήσιος named below the confluence of the Xerias Ξεριάς after that, ancient Greek Titarēsios Τιταρήσιος ) is a river in the plain of Thessaly in Greece. The Titarisios from Mount Olympus and flows first to the southwest before settling down in a wide arc turns towards the east, then through the plain of Thessaly, through the cities Elassona and Tyrnavos. He eventually joins the Pinios which opens at Stomio in Thermaikos Gulf in the Aegean Sea. The Titarisios is about 100 km long. Its most important tributary is the Elassonitis.

Mention he found already in Homer's Iliad:
