Tito & Tarantula

Tito & Tarantula is an American rock band that was founded in 1996 known by their appearance ( as a musician and performer ) in the film From Dusk Till Dawn worldwide. The fact played After Dark is still their most successful song.

Band History

The band was formed in Los Angeles by a native of Mexico Tito Larriva (formerly in the 1970s and 1980s punk bands Plugz, Flesh Eaters, The Impalas, The Cruzados ) founded in 1992, guitarist Peter Atanasoff and drummer Johnny " Vatos " Hernandez. Tarantula refers to the same SF- horror film directed by Jack Arnold from the year 1955. Tito & Tarantula have started as a fun project with live performances in various clubs and cafes in Los Angeles, which attracted more and more audience. Here they encountered the mid-1990s for the first time to the director Robert Rodriguez. This helped Tito Larriva in a smaller role in Desperado (film ) and the band contributed three songs on the soundtrack. A year later, now followed the above-mentioned Film From Dusk Till Dawn ( Soundtrack with two titles ). In 1997, the first album Tarantism, which was among the producers of the From Dusk Till Dawn - director Robert Rodriguez, at the same time now a friend and supporter of the band. Then found among the ten titles, four pieces of said two films.
