TN Mobile

TN Mobile ( until August 22, 2013 Leo, front to mid-August 2009 Cell One) is a Namibian mobile operator.

The operation on 16 March 2007 was recorded as the second provider in the country. TN Mobile belonged to June 2011, 100 percent of Telecel Globe, a subsidiary of Orascom Telecom, before it was sold to Investec and Nedbank. On December 3, 2012 it was announced that the state telecommunications company Telecom Namibia TN Mobile has completely taken over.

Products and customers

TN Mobile has more than 300,000 customers (as of mid 2010) and a range in the country of about 70 %.

TN Mobile operates a GSM 900/1800 network and supports EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA. Reception is currently available in all 13 regions of Namibia in larger towns and along the main roads. The mobile network is continuously being expanded. Roaming agreements exist with 135 mobile operators worldwide.
