Together (rave band)

Together were a British house music act from the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Band History

Together consisted of Jonathon Donaghy and Suddi Raval. The House Music Project was created in the context of the Manchester rave scene of the late eighties and early nineties, also known under the name of Madchester. Her debut single " Hardcore Uproar " has been produced for the legendary Hacienda club in Manchester. The almost exclusively instrumental piece with a striking piano solo was very popular there and was finally released commercially in the summer of 1990 as a single. It remained for six weeks in the charts, reaching number 12, together with the almost simultaneously released dance tracks " LFO " LFO and " Tricky Disco" Tricky Disco true " Hardcore Uproar " as a pioneer of the commercial breakthrough of techno music. Under the name Together published until 1994, a number of other publications, however, did not reach the British charts.

Donaghy came along with his girlfriend in 1991 in a traffic accident on Ibiza killed. Raval is now working as a composer for video games in Manchester.
