Toifilou Maoulida

Toifilou Maoulida ( born June 8, 1979 in Kani - Kéli, Mayotte ) is a French football player.

Career

Association

Maoulida began his career in 1997 at Montpellier HSC. After four years he moved to Stade Rennes and also played a Leihsaison at FC Metz. In 2005, he then went to AS Monaco, but where he could not prevail. Therefore, he was loaned to Olympique Marseille, where he was more successful.

In 22 games he scored eleven goals and prepared 13 matches ago. By the way, he developed a new way of exultation. After each time he shot goal he pulled a paper from his neck with a specific message it. For example: "I am proud to be a Marseilles ", or "For my mother and my father, which I like very much ." For this reason he moved to the 2007/08 season for AJ Auxerre, where he worked again with his former coach Jean Fernandez. But after only one goal in 15 games for the Burgundians, he moved in January 2008 to RC Lens. When the Northern French in 2011 descended to the second division, he signed a contract with SC Bastia.

National

Maoulida plays in the National Soccer Team of Mayotte, which is not a member of FIFA, however.

Private

The first name Toifilou literally means something like " You rascal ". Maoulidas brother Benjamin Moustapha is also footballers; the brothers played from 1999 to 2001 together with the HSC Montpellier.
