Tom Boyd (footballer)

Thomas " Tommy" Boyd (* November 24 1965 in Glasgow ) is a former Scottish footballer.

The defender took part as a Scottish national team at Euro 1992, Euro 1996 and at the 1998 World Cup in France. Tommy Boyd shot at the World Cup 98 in the preliminary round match against Brazil an own goal, which led to a 2-1 victory for the Brazilians.

Overall, Boyd has completed 72 caps for Scotland.

He is no longer active since 2003.
