Tom Holland (author)

Tom Holland ( born 1968 in Salisbury ) is a British writer.

He studied at the Universities of Cambridge ( Queens' College ) and Oxford, where he worked on a dissertation on Lord Byron, then the main character of his novel The vampire was. Holland's novels usually have supernatural and horror elements; they usually play in the past. Holland has also worked for the broadcasting of the BBC and written several books about historical issues in recent times.

2006 Holland received (along with Robin Lane Fox) for his non-fiction book Persian Fire Steven Runciman Award for historical narratives.
