Tom Hooker

Tom Hooker, alias Thomas Beecher Hooker, ( born November 18, 1957 in Greenwich, Connecticut ) is an American singer and actor.

He began his musical career as a drummer while he was studying in Switzerland. The mid-1980s he moved to Italy, allegedly because he was fascinated by the Italo - disco sound. There he was discovered by the Italian music producer and Turatti Chiregato. This wrote and produced Hooker's first hit Looking For Love. With the single Atlantis 1987 he reached number 23 in Switzerland.

1984 Hooker played a starring role in the Italian film Jocks, but this was little known.

His greatest successes were achieved by Hooker as a secret vocalist for the highly successful pan-European Italo Disco Star Den Harrow, which he lent his voice. Hooker himself however, it was also, which ultimately ended the big success for Den Harrow again, as he was not ready after two highly successful albums for Harrow to sing.

However, the subsequent attempt at a solo career then was not very successful for Hooker.
