Tom Lyle

Thomas " Tom" Lyle ( born November 2, 1953 in Jacksonville, Florida) is an American cartoonist and author.

Life and work

Lyle began working as a professional cartoonist in the 1980s. He could from 1989 recorded with the drawings for the lyrics written by Roger Stern sci-fi series Starman, which was published until 1991 when DC Comics His first major success.

Between 1991 and 1993 Lyle recorded a total of three mini-series, which focuses on solo adventures of Robin, the young wizard of the superhero character Batman stood. Author of these three miniseries - Robin ( five issues ), Robin II: Joker's Wild ( four issues), Robin III: Cry of the Huntress ( six issues) - was the author of Chuck Dixon, with the Lyle to 1991-1992 for nine more Batman Comics got together ( Detective Comics # 644-649 and Batman # 464-466 ).
