Tom Wright (British architect)

Tom Wright ( born September 18, 1957) is a British architect. He was known above all by the Burj al Arab in Dubai, which has quickly become the architectural icon and a landmark of Dubai.

Life and career

He studied at the Royal Russell School and the Kingston Polytechnic School of Architecture (now Kingston University School of Architecture ) and completed his studies in 1983. He is employed by the firm WS Atkins PLC and now head of the architecture department at Atkins headquarters in Epsom, London.
