Tomás Blanco (actor)

Tomás Blanco García ( born November 10, 1910 in Bilbao, † July 16, 1990 in Madrid) was a Spanish actor.

Life

Blanco was stationed since he was 18 years a member of the Foreign Legion in Morocco; In 1933 he gave his debut as an actor in Madrid for the drama group of Josefina Diaz. After the Spanish Civil War found him and the film, so he played 1942-1983 over 150 roles, and later for television. His theater work, he continued with the Compania Membrives.

In his film roles he usually embodied shady characters, including eleven in spaghetti westerns, and was from the 1970s, especially for the television programs of Estudio1 and Novela front of the camera.

Blanco was awarded in 1949 the price of the Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos as best actor for his role in El santuario no se bark.
