Tomašek, also Tomasek or Tomaschek ( Germanized ), is a common Czech surname, especially in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria occurs ( here especially in the Germanized form Tomaschek ) on. Evolved from the diminutive ( Tomasek = less than Thomas, Thomaslein ) by Tomáš to German Thomas, named either after the apostle Thomas or St. Thomas Aquinas.
