Tomer Hemed

Tomer Hemed (Hebrew תומר חמד ); ( Born 2 May 1987 in Haifa) is an Israeli football player who is under contract with the Spanish side RCD Mallorca since 2011. He also has Polish citizenship due to his ancestors.

Playing career

Maccabi Haifa (2006-2011)

Tomer Hemed debuted at the end of the 2005/06 season in the Ligat ha Al for his youth club Maccabi Haifa and won with the team directly its first Israeli championship. In the following seasons was mostly awarded to other Israeli teams and managed in the season 2009/10 the final breakthrough at Maccabi Ahi Nazareth with nine goals in thirty-three league games. His club different from but in the relegation relegation from the first division. After this season is Hemed (31 Spiele/13 goals) conquered for the first time a regular place at Maccabi Haifa and won with his team the championship against Israeli Hapoel Tel Aviv.

RCD Mallorca ( 2011 - )

On June 18, 2011 it undertook the Spanish first division side RCD Mallorca. Hemed came in the Primera División immediately along well, scoring in the first games five goals.

Israeli national team ( 2011 - )

Tomer Hemed debuted on June 4, 2011 in qualifying for the 2012 European Football Championships against Latvia for the Israeli national team. His first hit he succeeded on 6 September 2011 in a 1-3 defeat in Croatia. Ranking third behind Greece and Croatia missed Israel to participate in the European Football Championship in 2012.
