Tomislav Ivković

Tomislav Ivković ( born August 11, 1960 in Zagreb ) is a former Yugoslav football goalkeeper.

Tomislav Ivković began his career at Dinamo Zagreb and Red Star Belgrade came about in the fall of 1985 his first foreign commitment to Innsbruck. In the years before he had even played in the 1984 European Championship for Yugoslavia and also reached in 1984 winning the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles with the Yugoslav national team.

With FC Swarovski Tirol, where he replaced Peter Burgstaller as a goalkeeper, Ivković could also celebrate in the 1986/87 season by reaching the UEFA Cup semi-final as soon successes. Due to the stricter regime applicable to foreigners in the Austrian Bundesliga they separated after the 1987/88 season, however, as the Innsbruck could undertake with Klaus Lindenberger an equivalent replacement. Tomislav Ivković came after a brief stint at the Wiener Sport - Club to Portugal for Sporting Lisbon. In 1990, he participated as a highlight of his career in part at the World Championships in Italy, where he reached the quarter-finals.
