Tommie van der Leegte

Tom van der Leegte ( born March 27, 1977 in Bergeyk, The Netherlands ) is a former Dutch football player.

Association

Van der Leegte Beginning days of childhood football enthusiastically. He joined the EMF Nuenen. After that, he then joined the youth team of the Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven. In 1994 he was promoted to the professional team of the club. Only two years later, he left PSV deen and moved to local rivals RKC Waalwijk. He never came out on over 30 missions. For this reason he moved in 2000 to FC Twente Enschede. And again he came there to a few uses. He was awarded in the winter break of the 2002/ 03 back to RKC Waalwijk. In the summer of 2003, he moved to ADO Den Haag, where he flourished then. For the first time in his career he came on 30 missions and was a regular player. The 1.79 m wide defensive midfielder joined two and a half years later, logically the winter break of the 2005/ 2006 Bundesliga side VfL ​​Wolfsburg, where he wore the shirt number 14. He grew to become an important defensive regulars. For the season 2007/ 08 he moved for family reasons back to his home to PSV Eindhoven. But after a season he moved to NAC Breda, after he had been only three appearances for PSV. Only two years later, he ended his career due to various injuries.
