Tomoko Ohta
Tomoko Ohta (Japanese太 田 朋 子Ōta Tomoko, born September 7, 1933) is a Japanese molecular biologist.
Life
Ohta is a student of Motoo Kimura. There, at the National Institute of Genetics at the University of North Carolina, she received her Ph.D. in 1967. She was known for her work on the neutral theory. In 2002, she was inducted into the National Academy of Sciences.
