Tone Ã…se

Tone Åse ( born February 24, 1965) is a Norwegian singer whose style is through the experimental use of her voice, often dominated by electronic effects.

Tone Åse has her musical education, including classical vocal training, undergone in Bergen and at the music conservatories of Trøndelag and Trondheim. Since 1991 it belongs to the experimentally oriented vocal ensemble Kvitretten and was thus a member of the first hour. In 1995 she founded together with keyboardist Ståle Storløkken, saxophonist gate Yttredal and drummer Tor Haugerud the band Bol, whose music is a mixture of progressive rock, jazz, electronic music, pop and folk. Furthermore, it occurs as a member of Trondheim Voices, a vocal ensemble, made up of musicians from the Trondheim region, on. In addition to her active role as a singer to Tone Åse is also dedicated to various music education projects.
