Tongmenghui

Tongmenghui (Chinese同盟会/同盟会, Pinyin Tongmenghui, T'ung- meng Hui W.-G., Society of ( revolutionary ) Alliance ', sometimes with, oath -ring' translated) was a company incorporated in Tokyo from Sun Yat-sen in 1905. She was a merger of several small revolutionary groups which previously acted autonomously and knew how to start nor as a secret society.

History

The program was adopted on 30 July 1905 in the absence of Sun Yat-sen and included 16 characters: 「驱除 鞑 虏,恢复 中华,创立 民国,平均 地 权」. Analogously: expulsion of the Tartar rags, revival of the Chinese nation, founding a republic, implementation of land reform.

The Tongmenghui was responsible since its founding to the Revolution of 1911, the Xinhai Revolution for a series of uprisings. Core area of their activities on the mainland was the Guangdong province.

After 1911, the members of the Tongmenghui fighting in their provinces for the places in the provincial governments. In the central government of the new Republic, the Cabinet consisted solely of members of the Tongmenghui.

In March 1912, the Tongmenghui was a party. After long discussions and meetings, the establishment of a new party was approved in August 1912, which in addition to the Tongmenghui nor should consist of several different parties: the Guomindang ( Kuomintang ).
