Tony Ingham

Tony Ingham ( born February 18, 1925 in Harrogate, † 21 April 2010) was an English football player on the position of a defender. With 555 missions he holds the insert record his longtime club Queens Park Rangers, where he was as a player 1950-1963 under contract.

Life

Ingham emerged from the offspring of his home club Harrogate Town FC. In 1946 he became a professional player and moved to Leeds United. He could not sit down and moved in 1950 to the Queens Park Rangers, where he stood up to his retirement from professional football in 1963 under contract and in this time 514 league games completed, in which he scored three goals.

After his playing career he remained true to his longstanding association remain connected. Initially, he worked as a manager and in 1981 he became a member of the Board.
