Tony Vincent
Tony Vincent ( born July 25, 1973 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, real name Anthony Peter Strascina ) is an American rock singer and musical actor. He has chosen for his grandfather his stage name.
Biography
At the age of 7 years, played Vincent in smaller theater productions with his school. His professional singing career began while a student at Belmont University in Nashville. At this time he recorded his first single, Love Falling Down. By publishing Star Song Records / EMI became aware of Vincent, where he signed his first recording contract. During the next six years he published three albums, of which 6 Songs # 1 on the Billboard radio charts in the U.S. reached.

Rent
1998 Vincent moved to New York to find himself a short time later in the national tour of Rent- production in a starring role. In January 1999 he made his Broadway debut in the same production. Here he played the first of Roger and Mark later.
Jesus Christ Superstar
2000 Vincent was featured in the film remake of Jesus Christ Superstar in the role of Simon Zealotes. In the later Broadway production Vincent was provided again for the same role. Following the departure of Jason Pebworth, the original cast for the role of Judas, three weeks before the premiere Vincent was reshuffled by the composer of the show Andrew Lloyd Webber on the lead role. Vincent's appearances as Judas won him a nomination for the Outer Critics Awards for "Best Featured Actor". Impressed by his Broadway presentation, chose AL Webber Vincent for a production in China, which should make known the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber in China. This performance was later released on DVD as Andrew Lloyd Webber Masterpiece (Live in Beijing).
We Will Rock You
In 2002, Vincent the lead role of Galileo Figaro in the Queen musical We Will Rock You ( WWRY ) in London's West End. He played that role until November 2003. Moreover, he stood together with the remaining band members of Queen at the Party at the Palace on the occasion of the 50th jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in June 2002 on the stage and sang the song Bohemian Rhapsody.
The North America - production of WWRY start of 2004. Vincent took again the lead role of Galileo. Here he met his future wife, Aspen Miller (now Aspen Vincent ) know who played in the production of the female leading role of Scaramouche. Vincent played here until July 2005, then to devote himself again to his solo career.
American Idiot
Vincent was one of the original cast of the production in the role of St. Jimmy. The winner of Tony Awards Musical is based on Green Day's album of the same name. The show was first performed at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre. The Broadway premiere took place on 20 April 2010. Tony Vincent remained in production until the end of December 2010.
Solo career
Vincent released four solo albums: Love Falling Down (1993 ), Tony Vincent ( 1995), One Deed (1997), and the 5 song EP A Better Way ( 2007). He had six number - one songs in the U.S. Billboard CHR / CRR radio charts: Simple Things, Whole New Spin, Out of My Hands, High, Do You Really and One Deed. In February 2011, Vincent, along with Kevin Max and David Larring founded the band Bad Omens. She is currently working on songs for an upcoming album.
