Action
Derek Thompson is a professional ice hockey player. His best days are behind him, however: He usually sits on the bench and if he is then allowed time on the field, then as a kind of mascot. Because Derek beats his opponents like to a tooth out - his nickname "Tooth Fairy " he has therefore earned. At the tooth fairy he does not believe anyway - and when he does the little daughter of his girlfriend Carly impress this truth, he promptly cashed the bill: under his pillow he finds a summons to the fairy kingdom. As punishment for his wanton destruction of childish fantasy that Oberfee Lily sentenced him to two weeks hard labor: of course as tooth fairy.
Criticism
The criticism from many Internet portals seems pretty mediocre to bad to fail, so wrote the Internet portal filmstarts.de, " And in the end? As you go out of the cinema and annoyed by this mere idea. "
Further criticism is that the writing team composed of five members and the Michael Lembeck almost pushy trying to convey the message " Believe in yourself! ".
Continuation
2012 was produced directly for the DVD market with Tooth Fairy 2 a sequel. The main role was played Larry the Cable Guy.
