Topfreedom

Topfreedom is the generic term for a political and cultural movement in the context of gender equality, which works to ensure that women and girls should have the same right as men and boys to be able to appear in public shirtless. Background

The organization GoTopless was founded by the journalist and Ufogläubigen Claude Vorilhon, as Raël known in Nevada. GoTopless has since established in other countries.

The first Go Topless Day 2008 took place in the USA, in Canada, 2011 and 2012 on August 26 in the U.S., Canada, France, the Netherlands and Switzerland. The Topfree Equal Rights Association in the U.S. supports women affected by litigation and organized demonstrations. In Sweden, the activists of Bara Bröst were known with similar actions, in Denmark, the Topless Front.
