Toploader

Toploader is a five-piece British rock band. It was established in Eastbourne in 1997. With their debut album, the band rose to the ranks of the most famous British alternative rock bands in the summer of 2000.

Her biggest hit was Dancing in the Moonlight, originally performed by King Harvest, which also made them internationally known. The song can also be heard in the movie A Walk To Remember Shane West and Mandy Moore and were also released on the soundtrack to the film.

Their popularity waned rapidly but, when bands like Coldplay and Muse changes the sound of the alternative scene sustainable.

In 2003, the band broke up, but came back together in 2009.
