Torahiko Terada

Torahiko Terada (Japanese寺 田 寅 彦; born November 28, 1878 in Tokyo, † December 31, 1935 ) was a Japanese physicist and writer. As a writer, he wrote under the pseudonym Yoshimura Fuyuhiko.

He taught as a professor at Tokyo Imperial University, was a researcher at RIKEN and worked in many fields of physics. In addition, he worked as a professor at the Earthquake Research Institute ( Institute for Research on Earthquake ) of the University of Tokyo.

As a writer, he wrote a variety of essays, ranging from science to theater and Haiku to manga.

Honors

The asteroid ( 6514 ) Torahiko was named after him.
