Torino Esposizioni

Torino Expositions is the name of a 1949 exhibition center opened in the Italian city of Turin. It was designed by Pier Luigi Nervi and is located in the southern district of San Massimo D' Azeglio Salvario in Corso, in the immediate vicinity of Turin's Olympic stadium (former Stadio Comunale ) and the sports hall Torino Palasport Olimpico. Most fair activities in 1989 moved to Lingotto, a former Fiat factory.

One of the exhibition halls within the Giovanni Agnelli Pavilion was converted by September 2001 at a cost of 10.5 million euros in a temporary sports hall. The maximum capacity is 4,320 seats. During the 2006 Winter Olympics here were about half of the Games of the two Ice Hockey tournaments played (17 out of 38 games of the men and 10 of 20 games for women). After the Olympics, the hall was fed back to the original use.
