Torry Larsen

Torry Larsen ( * April 11, 1971 in Ålesund ) is a Norwegian polar explorer and adventurer.

The elite soldier hit in 1992 along with Rune Gjeldnes, who also hails from the province of Møre og Romsdal.

In 1994 she took the Umanaq - Isertoq expedition in Greenland. Between 19 March and 12 June 1996, succeeded both to cross Greenland lengthwise. They laid 2895 km in 86 days back without air support.

In 2000, he and Rune Gjeldnes crossed first without further support from Severnaya Zemlya the Arctic Ocean via the North Pole to Canada under the Arctic Ocean 2000 expedition. The development of the special carriage for this expedition had taken two years to complete.

2001 years belonged Larsen back to the team of Gjeldnes when he went on a canoe trip through Venezuela.
