Torun Eriksen

Torun Eriksen ( born January 8, 1977 in Lunde ) is a Norwegian singer.

Life and work

Her musical career began in Torun Eriksen already was six years old when she joined a gospel choir. Until her 19 years she cavorted as a choir member and soloist in a gospel environment. They dived repeatedly into the related musical worlds of soul, jazz and rhythm and blues, a, dealt extensively with jazz standards and began to write his own compositions. She studied music at the University of Skien in Norway and later attended in Oslo, the Norwegian Institute for Stage and Studio ( NISS ). In 2004, she released her first solo album Glitter Card, the 2006 Prayers & Observations followed.
