Touchback

The touchback is a term used in American football. As a touchback is called when at a kickoff or a punt by the attacking team the ball flies into the end zone or rolls, or flies over the end zone and is not worn out by the defense team of the end zone.

After the kickoff or punt then changes the possession and the next turn begins at the 20 -yard line of the attack team.
