Tour de la Somme
The Tour de la Somme ( since 2008 Grand Prix de la Somme) is a bicycle race in France. The race takes place in the French department Somme. For the first time the race was held in 1986 and was until 1998 a one-day amateur race. In 1999, when professionals were admitted, the race has been transformed into a stage race. With the exception of 2002, the discharge stages version remained until 2006. Since 2007, the competition is a one-day race again. Since 2005 (2006 does not ) the race of the UCI Europe Tour. As a stage race it had the 2.2 category, as a one-day race 1.1.
