Tour do Rio

The Tour do Rio (also Volta do Rio de Janeiro, Volta de Campos and Volta Ciclistica Internacional de Campos ) is a bike race in Brazil. The small tour takes in five stages by the State of Rio de Janeiro. The aim of the race was either Rio de Janeiro or Campos. The race will be wearing irregularly since 2000. The first host was a one-day race, but since 2002, the race is a round trip. In 2007, it was part of the UCI America Tour and it will be back in 2009. The 2008 edition was canceled. Category of the tour is 2.2.
