Tour Ivoirien de la Paix

The Tour Ivorian de la Paix is an Ivorian road cycling.

The race was held in March 2008 for the first and so far only time. Start and finish Abidjan, capital of Ivory Coast. The stage race is one of the UCI Africa Tour and is classified in category 2.1. Organizer of the race, the Association Sportive Cote d'Ivoire Environnement et Paix and race director is Jean -Claude Hérault. For Premiere Winner of the French ProTour rider Rony Martias was declared after the last stage had to be canceled due to heavy rain. For the year 2011, according to UCI calendar years a renewed discharge of 19 April is preplanned to 24 April.

2008 edition

The tour led through 6 stages with a total of 797.3 km. Participated have the national teams of Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Egypt, Morocco, Eritrea, Gabon, Rwanda, Senegal and Tunisia, as well as the Profiradteams of Crédit Agricole, Bouygues Telecom, Team LPR, Amore & Vita- McDonald's and Elk Haus - Simplon.
