Elk Haus
Elk Haus was an Austrian cycling team.
The team was founded in 1996, from 2006 to the status as a Professional Continental team. Teammamager was Bernhard Rassinger, which was supported by the sporting director Harald Wisiak. The team was sponsored by the Austrian prefabricated building company Elk Fertighaus AG and the bike manufacturer Fuji. According to the 2009 season, the team has been disbanded.
Germany Tour 2007
Elk Haus -Simplon received one of four wildcards for the Germany tour 10 to 18 August 2007. For the Lower Austrian team it would have been the first ProTour race the team's history, but it was unloaded again three days before the start of the tour. The reasons for missing signatures were named among the UCI affidavit and an incorrect fact of the notification. The team announced on 9 August 2007 in a press release that it has obtained an injunction in the district court of Hamburg to force the start of the team.
