2008–09 UCI Europe Tour
The UCI Europe Tour is introduced for the 2005 season from the International Cycling Union UCI European road cycling calendar below the UCI ProTour. The fifth season began on October 17, 2008 and ended on October 15, 2009.
The one-day races and stage races of the UCI Europe Tour are divided into three categories (HC, 1 and 2). For every race points are awarded for a score. At the UCI Europe Tour rating participate the Professional Continental teams and Continental teams. At the individual race also ProTour teams can register.
