Trofeo Matteotti
The Trofeo Matteotti is an Italian bicycle race.
The Trofeo Matteotti is a one-day race, which was held in 1945 for the first time. It takes place annually in August around the Italian city of Pescara instead. 1975 and 1995 the race was also the Italian road Radmeisterschaft. Since 2005 it belongs to the UCI Europe Tour and is classified in category 1.1. Record winner is Italian Francesco Moser, who won the race three times.
The race is dedicated to Giacomo Matteotti, a murdered on 10 June 1924 in the vicinity of Rome by Italian fascists socialist politician.
