Angelo Conterno

Angelo Conterno ( born March 13, 1925 in Turin, † November 30, 2007 in Turin ) was an Italian cyclist.

Career

Although he drove mainly in Italy races, Angelo Conterno gained its greatest successes abroad. In 1956, he became the first Italian to the general classification of the Tour of Spain, including the second stage. In 1959 he won the Championship of Zurich ( Zuri- pig roast ). At the Tour of Italy, he participated ten times, winning a total of three stages. Throughout his professional career, he recorded 16 wins.
