Mario Ricci

Mario Ricci ( born August 13, 1914 in Padua, † 22 February 2005 in Como ) was an Italian cyclist.

Mario Ricci was professional racing drivers of 1938 until 1950. His greatest successes were the two victories in 1941 and 1945 at the Tour of Lombardy. In 1943 he was Italian champion in the road race. The UCI Road World Championships 1946 in Zurich, he took fourth place at the 1947 World Championships in Valkenburg roads fifth place.

1946, 1947 and 1948 Ricci decided one stage of the Giro d' Italia for themselves. In 1941 he finished second in 1946 and third in Milan - Sanremo. 1945 won the Trofeo Matteotti Ricci and 1947 and 1949, the Coppa Bernocchi. He also recorded numerous wins and podiums at other Italian races.

From 1968 to 1972 Mario Ricci worked in the athletic line of Italian street team.
