Nino Defilippis
Nino Defilippis ( born March 21, 1932 in Turin, Italy, † July 13, 2010 ) was an Italian professional road bicycle racer.
Career
Defilippis began his professional career in 1952 with the Italian team Legnano. Already in his first year as a professional he won a stage at the Giro d' Italia for himself and drove two days in the pink jersey. In the following years he won several stages in the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España, was two times Italian Champion and finally in 1961 vice-champion in the road race at the World Championships in Bern. 1962 ended Defilippis his active professional career.
