Giovanni Micheletto

Micheletto Giovanni ( born January 21, 1889 in Sacile, † September 29, 1958 ) was an Italian cyclist who was called by his followers the " Count of Sacile " or " Nanè ".

In 1910 he already won the Giro di Lombardia and the Giro di Romagna Toscana. His best result was winning the Giro d' Italia in 1912. The race was at that time extended as team standings. His teammates were Luigi Ganna, Galetti Carlo and Eberardo Pavesi.

Micheletto was also the first Italian to win a race in France, Paris - Menen in 1913. During the year he also won a stage of the Tour de France.
