Thibaut Pinot

Thibaut Pinot (born 29 May 1990 in Mélisey ) is a French road racing cyclist.

Thibaut Pinot won in the 2009 season when his team CC Etupes Le Doubs a stage of the Tour des Pays de Savoie, where he finished eighth overall. At the Giro della Valle d' Aosta, he started with the national team and was there the Appreciation decide for themselves. As of the 2010 season went Pinot, the youngest riders in the UCI Pro Tour, for the French ProTeam Française des Jeux at the start. In 2012 he won the eighth stage of the Tour, in his first start of the tour and the youngest driver in the field.

The strong climber is by his own admission a weak downhill, which affects its results in the mountains: he had a phobia of speed as against other snakes and spiders. Because of this departure weakness, he lost in the Tour de France in 2013 already in the Pyrenees lot of time and abandoned the race after the stage to Mont Ventoux. In the Vuelta a Espana in 2013 he was sent to consistent performances seventh overall and best U- 25 drivers.
