Stefan Denifl ( born September 20, 1987 in Fulpmes, Tyrol) is an Austrian cyclist.

Career

Stefan Denifl began in 2001 in the "Team Bike Denifl " as mountain bikers, 2003, he moved to the street and the "Team ÖAMTC Recheis Lattella ". From 2004, he has focused on the road bicycle racing. In 2005 he was accepted by Heiko Salzwedel in the T- Mobile Development program and become familiar with the professional cycling.

His first professional contract signed Denifl for the year 2006 at the Professional Continental Team Volksbank. In 2007 he went house -Simplon for the cycling team Elk and moved in 2010 to the Cervélo TestTeam, both also Professional Continental team.

As of the 2011 season, Stefan Denifl riding for the Luxembourg team Leopard Trek and the first time for a UCI ProTeam. His first race for the new team he played from 18 to 23 January 2011 at the time of the Tour Down Under, which he finished on the 66th place overall.

After only one year with the Luxembourg team Denifl changed mid-October 2011 to the Dutch team Vacansoleil -DCM

His current employer is the swiss team IAM Cycling
