Vuelta a Murcia

The Vuelta a Murcia (Spanish Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia) is a bicycle race, which was held from 1981 to 2012 every year in southern Spain Murcia as a stage race. Until 1986 it was an amateur race and until 1989 a national competition.

In 2007, the tour was initially canceled because the organizers could not find enough sponsors after the departure of the Spanish television, to finance the tour. Ultimately, it was found then but enough sponsors and the race was, as planned, to take place. However, it has been reduced from five to three days and finally to two days. 2013 is the race rather than a one-day race.
